Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 May 2026

Drip — Book Insights ("Drip", "we", "the app") is built by Abhishek Jain. This policy explains what data the app handles, why, and the choices you have. We collect as little as possible.

What we collect

Drip collects only two kinds of data, and only to make the app work:

Both are linked to your account identifier so your reading history and book progress can sync across your devices.

What we do NOT collect

Drip does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. There is no App Tracking Transparency prompt because there is nothing to track.

How your data is used

Your data is never sold, rented, or used for advertising.

Service providers

Drip uses Google Firebase to run its backend: Firebase Authentication (Sign in with Apple), Cloud Firestore (history and progress sync), Firebase Analytics (the usage events above), Firebase App Check (abuse prevention), and Cloud Functions (account deletion). Google processes this data on our behalf. See Firebase's privacy information.

Data retention & deletion

Your reading history and progress are kept while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time:

This is immediate and irreversible.

Children

Drip is rated 4+ and contains no objectionable content, but it is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will change. Significant changes will be noted in the app.
